The Mavic Aksium Disc system wheels for your road bike with disc brakes promise strong performance in daily use.
Straight spokes provide stability and stiffness, while the versatile and lightweight rims reduce the inertia of the wheelset and increase agility. Rim profile, spoke geometry and pattern are all designed for use in combination with modern disc brakes. The larger rim width allows for the use of tyres with a width of up to 32 mm, which means more riding comfort and pleasure at the same time. All in all, this is an ideal introduction to the world of Mavic road wheels.
Because entry-level at Mavic doesn’t mean inferior quality, as evidenced by the high-quality Instant Drive 360 toothed disc freewheel of the Aksium Disc wheels. This is because Mavic usually builds it into much more expensive wheels.
