The seamlessly welded Tubo-ROAD-700C lightweight tube by Tubolito makes an excellent alternative to butyl, when riding with clinchers and folding tyres. Not only top athletes, but also amateur road cyclists will be enthused about the new possibilities of weight tuning that these tubes offer in combination with super light competition tyres of the latest compound generation. Rolling resistance and weight can then definitely be compared with tubeless systems. With superlight 33 g, the orange lightweight reduces the rotating mass at your road, triathlon or time trial bike by up to 100 g per wheel! Moreover, as a replacement tube with extremely small pack size, it fits easily into your jersey pocket or under the saddle.
When inflated, the foil-like, smooth thermoplastic tube exactly fits the tyre. This reduces friction between tyre and tube and thus also rolling resistance. Besides the advantages in terms of weight and roll-off behaviour, the tube is also highly puncture-proof and can easily compete with standard tubes, despite its thin material. However, should you have a puncture, the orange tube can be quickly repaired with the Tubo-Patch repair kit (prod. code: 2311781). Mounting is as easy as with a standard tube. If you would like to go without a tubeless system, you can as well bring the performance of your tyres on a higher level, using the Tubo polymer tube.

Habe die Schläuche jetzt das 4te Jahr in einem Laufradsatz. Trotz Reifenwechsel (Abnutzung) noch immer in Ordnung – aber Achtung – Dimension des Reifens unbedingt beibehalten. Liebe Grüße aus Wien kurt
Weiterhin hatte ich den Eindruck, der Schlauch hält ewig den Luftdruck.
Nach einem seitlichen Reifenaufschlitzen durch einen scharfen Schotterstein, platzte der Schlauch nicht, sondern es trat eine Blase aus dem Schlitz raus in der sich ein kleines Loch befand. Über dieses lies der Schlauch langsam die Luft ab, so dass ich noch mühelos 500 m fahren konnte (Vorderrad). Leider kann ich nicht sagen, ob dies Zufall oder der Regelfall ist, mich hat es jedenfalls extrem beeindruckt und mich wiederum zum Kauf dieses Schlauches bewegt.
